Lahore’s tourism bureau has added a new route to the city’s double-decker bus service for tourists. Lahore Museum and the National History Museum at Iqbal Park are among the new attractions.
Dhol rhythms, bhangra, and other joyful ethnic customs were featured in the opening ceremony. Secretary Tourism Ehsan Bhutta greeted the visitors and provided them with pamphlets that contained important information about both museums.
The department, according to details, has started a new route to revitalize the service. The local government expects that this service, together with educating and entertaining the general public and tourists, will provide a significant revenue stream for the Punjab government.
According to Bhutta, the Punjab government will launch nine new double-decker buses in the near future. Three of the buses will operate on new routes in Lahore. It will also appoint tour guides to educate travelers about the many attractions along each route.
Other opportunities for enhancing tourism operations in the province are also being explored by the government.
