By launching a new ‘Careem Go Mini Saver’ ride option, Careem has given the people of Karachi and Lahore a much-needed lifeline.
There was a pressing need to fill the gap in ride-hailing services for countless daily customers after a series of fuel price rises in recent weeks.
Careem’s new ‘Go Mini Saver’ car type is intended to provide much-needed relief to the residents of Karachi and Lahore. Customers in these cities can now reserve a ride at a lower rate for specific times of the day.
“We strive to serve our customers in the best possible ways given the current economic situation,” said Feroz Jaleel, Careem Pakistan’s Country Head. Go Mini Saver is an effort to fill the gap in affordable, safe, and convenient transportation options.
Careem Go Mini Saver is now even more affordable, so don’t waste your time waiting for a bus and still enjoy the convenience of being on the go!
In Karachi and Lahore, this service is currently available at certain times of the day, and it is being considered for implementation in additional cities.
There are currently more than 800,000 Captains on Careem, with a total investment of up to $100 million.
To become a Super App, Careem will expand its services to include food and daily essential deliveries as well as the transfer of money (peer-to-peer credit transfer and mobile top-ups).
