The 2022 PUBG MOBILE Pro League Pakistan Spring (PMPL Pakistan) gives teams a professional platform to compete for cash rewards.
The competition lasted 18 days in total, including three days for the finals, which pitted the top 16 teams from the league rounds against one another. The competition’s total prize pool was PKR 17,600,000, the most for a PUBG MOBILE tournament in Pakistan.
The top six teams from Pakistan, including the national champion, will advance to the South Asia Championship, which will be held from May 19 to 22, 2022, and will feature teams from all around South Asia in a nail-biting three-day struggle. Mongolia and Nepal were the victors of the South Asian competition last year.
With 174 points and 92 kills, Team TUF took second place, followed by SALTxi8 Esports. The Grounders finished fourth with 171 points after registering four chicken dinners, the most in the Grand Finals. R3gicide and FreeStyle came in fifth and sixth place, respectively, with 166 and 162 points.
The PMPL will now run on a one-year cycle rather than seasonal relegation in order to increase excitement and provide a more stable competitive environment. This means that clubs competing in the upcoming 2022 PMPL Pakistan Spring will also compete in the Fall Split.
Following the tournament’s enormous success, the PMPL is offering fresh improvements and changes to the South Asia Championship broadcast arrangements. Reduced gaps between matches and virtual studios for fans to enjoy the matches will dramatically improve the audience experience.
Starting May 19th, 2022, there will be a variety of in-game events and goods designed specifically for fans and audiences, in which you can participate in.
Another new treat for fans is a unique watch party with influencers and guest celebrities such as Raza Samo, Mathira, and Bhola record to coincide with the exciting tournament matches.
Fans will be able to demonstrate their support for their favorite teams by participating in YouTube polls and digitally wearing their team badges within the virtual areas. To keep the audience involved and entertained, there will be live discussions, voting, and multiple-choice questions.
Players can also choose Urdu as their preferred language and enjoy a customized plot based on their location. Fans will be able to see more information about their favorite players from their own country.
